Missions
Missions is about fulfilling the Great Commission and that is done both here and abroad. From the beginning Christ's Church has been involved in doing just that-working both near and far to make disciples of all nations. We've been involved locally in food distribution, widows' care and meeting needs in the community as well as evangelism, training and mercy ministry in over 30 countries throughout the world. Current ministries include the following:
Jackson County, KS Food Pantry
The Jackson County Ministerial Alliance in Holton, KS oversees a food
pantry that serves to meet the needs of area residents. This vital
ministry serves hundreds every year in meeting critical needs.
Especially as the economy is challenged, this ministry is become more
and more critical in the community. Members of Christ's Church are
involved in key roles in distribution of these goods to the community.
Human Trafficking Awareness
Human Trafficking, often known as modern-day slavery, has become a
festering wound throughout the world. There are more slaves today
than at any other time in known history. Unfortunately human
trafficking has become a problem even in our area of the Midwest.
Lack of knowledge is a key factor in its outrageous growth, so we at
Christ's Church are doing our part to help raise awareness and to
encourage the three disciplines of fasting, praying and giving.

Radical Word
Scripture tells us to 'let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly'
(Col 3:16). Because of this we promote an emphasis on the word in the
Sunday morning service as well as encourage Bible reading and
memorization. Furthermore our kids have taken on a challenge to
raise funds for Bibles for the persecuted church so they too can
have the Word. One member of our congregation has put together the
