Selecting a church is an important decision.  There are  many different congregations with different programs and teachings.  The Bible points out three important questions you should ask about a church as you evaluate what is best for you.

Question # 1:
Does the congregation believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the only way to salvation?

In Matthew 16:16 Peter declares that Jesus is the Son of God.  Acts 4:12 simply declares that Jesus is the only way to obtain salvation.  Clearly, God wants you to choose a congregation that recognizes Jesus as His Son.

Question # 2:
Does the congregation teach that the Bible is the inspired word of God?

In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, the Apostle Paul tells us that the scriptures were inspired by God.  The Bible is God's authoritative word to us.  The Bible is where we must begin to know God and His will for our lives.

Question # 3:
Are you encouraged by your involvement with this congregation?

Hebrews 10:25 is the one direct command in the Bible that tells us to gather regularly.  We are encouraged to serve and worship God, live a Christ-like life, to grow and to serve other Christians.

Christ's Church answers YES to the first two questions.  We believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God and that the Bible is the only rule of practice and faith needed by God's people.

The answer to the third question is yours.

What do you and your family need?
Do you have children who need positive instructions?
Do you need a discussion group to help you grow in Christ?
Are there people in this congregation that you think could be your friends?
